The Office of Educational Technology (OET) provides leadership, consultation, training, and technical assistance to schools in the effective use of educational technology. OET disseminates information about instructional applications, new and emerging technologies, and current research through a variety of channels, including face-to-face training and assistance, computer-mediated (WebEx) conferences, two-way interactive videoconferences, regional meetings, and statewide conferences. OET provides training and support related to educational technology; it also facilitates technology planning, program evaluation, and implementation of the Computer/Technology Standards for Students and Technology Standards for Instructional Personnel at the local level.
